The Leicester Coach Core apprenticeship programme has an exciting range of placements across Leicestershire including: boxing, cricket, rugby union and gymnastics.
The current programme is offering apprentices full time employment with a recognised sporting or youth based employer and a wage, whilst also working towards the Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification – and a whole host of additional learning opportunities. In addition, whilst employed directly by one organisation, there will also be access to a range of events, training opportunities and other experiences through the other supportive partners.
The employers for the Leicester Coach Core programme are: LCFC in The Community, Leicestershire County Cricket, Rocket Youth Sport, Active Leicester, Waterfront Centre, Leicester Tigers, TayPlay Sport, Leicester Riders, Aylestone Park FC, FSD Academy, Super Star Sports, Tom Flowers Cricket and Schulz Coaching. The programme is administered by Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport.
