Forever Sport, our primary school PE and sports coaching programme, is engaging and inspiring children from over 50 schools to fall in love with sport and physical activity.

Axis Trampoline & Gymnastics Club – much more than just Trampolining in Bristol. Their passionate trampolining and gymnastics coaching team ensure that fun and enjoyment are at the heart of everything we do. They provide a friendly and fun environment to learn a variety of trampolining and gymnastics disciplines and activities. They are a very well-equipped gym, with top-of-the-range Olympic-standard equipment throughout all disciplines. Future Stars Coaching is an award winning, sports coaching and mentoring organisation. We work with schools, local authorities, academy trusts and sports clubs to deliver a wide range of services. Our team currently consists of over 55 staff, ranging from professional sports coaches and teachers to fully qualified mentors. We work closely with over 50 schools in North Somerset, Bristol, South.
FSC are looking for a motivated and engaging Sports Coaching Apprentice to work towards their community Activator Coach Apprenticeship over the course of 15 Months. The role would be supporting and assisting in the delivery of sport and childcare sessions within primary education.
They particularly welcome applicants from female, black, minority, ethnic (BME) communities, disabled people and homosexual, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities, as they are currently underrepresented within our workforce.

Tumble Gymnastics & Actibity Centre offer a range of classes from baby up to competitive gymnastics.
As past of your apprenticeship you will be a permanent member of the Community, Sport and Health team. You will be required to work across sports centres in the area under supervision delivering fun, inclusive and engaging sport and physical activity sessions.

Sporting Your Futures was formed to create positive change in the community through sport and social activities by being inclusive of all backgrounds in the community. They use sport as a tool to engage Black, Asian and ethnic minority communities (BAME) and facilitate positive change.
You will deliver sport and physical activity sessions to young people in community settings, Schools, and Holiday Camps. They aim to use sport as a tool to engage young people by taking a proactive and innovative approach to engage inactive communities.

All Coach Core apprentices receive:
- An employment placement
- A minimum salary of at least National Apprenticeship Wage
- Nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification
- Additional training and development opportunities
- Mentoring and support from experienced, dedicated staff
- Access to events and opportunities not seen on any other programme
- A commitment to work with you to find a positive exit route at the end of the programme
Your Qualification
- Community Activator Coach (Level 2)
- Community Sports & Health Officer (Level 3)
What to expect
The programme will last 15-18 months. You will be employed and paid for a minimum of 30 hours per week, and that will include your ‘education day’ – a day spent with your tutor and other Coach Core apprentices working towards your qualification.
We are looking for people who are:
- Aged 16-24 when applying
- Availability for full-time employment 30 hours a week for 15-18 months
- Have enthusiasm for teaching others and growing sport in your community
- Able to provide a reference. This can be an individual from your school, college, place of work or sports club
