Coach Core Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership agreement with The Money Charity, to help provide financial awareness for apprentices and graduates.

For over 25 years, The Money Charity has been the UK’s Financial Capability charity, supporting people across the UK to learn how to make the most of their money, throughout their lives. They deliver workshops to young people, workplaces, and communities, covering key money management topics such as budgeting, saving, credit, banking, and more.

The Young People’s team deliver workshops to 11-19 year olds in a range of settings, including schools, colleges, youth groups, Pupil Referral Units, Alternative Learning Provisions, Young Offender Institutions, and more. As part of this partnership, the Money Charity have been delivering virtual workshops to Coach Core apprentices, supporting them with wider employability and life skills as they start to build the foundations of their career. To date, these workshops have included content on saving, tax and payslips, and will also extend to include Covid-19 & financial resilience in the coming months.

Coach Core Essex Apprentice Sophie said:

“Being able to take part in two sessions with The Money Charity was an insightful and enjoyable experience, the presentations we’re engaging, delivery was fun and they made sure that the information was thorough and clear, explaining the basics of money/terminology and providing the essential guide to save money for the future, it was very useful and am grateful for the opportunity”

Amy Fazackerley, National Partnerships Manager at Coach Core Foundation, says:

“We are delighted to be working with the Money Charity through the delivery of these workshops. Our apprentices have continually flagged the need for additional support around these topics, and working with the Money Charity ensures we can provide that support in an engaging and practical way, whilst also ensuring they receive expert support on these issues. We hope this will form the basis of a long term partnership with The Money Charity, supporting Coach Core apprentices and graduates for many years to come”
