Exciting opportunity for new trustees to join the Coach Core team

In order to support the transition from The Royal Foundation as a hugely successful programme to a stand-alone charity, the team are now looking to supplement the expertise and insight the current trustee board can offer by recruiting 2-3 new individuals to join the journey!

Since 2012, the Coach Core programme has positively impacted the life chances of over 550 apprentices living and working in 14 cities around the UK.  Whilst a programme of The Royal Foundation, we shaped the vision and journey of the project through the Coach Core management team and advisory board, the trustees of The Royal Foundation and of course, the wishes of Their Royal Highnesses throughout the 8 years.  However, thanks to the success and growth of the project, the decision was made for Coach Core to become an independent charity so that it could continue its trajectory and development and ultimately impact more young people, employers and communities than ever before.

We now reach an exciting stage of our journey where the newly formed trustee board mirror this ambition to grow and add to its expertise and insight so it is with great delight that we announce that the Coach Core Foundation is now looking to appoint 2-3 new individuals to join the team!

We hope to attract individuals who can draw on a wealth of experience and connections in the world of safeguarding, fundraising or finance (to act as the charity treasurer) but importantly, are passionate about social mobility and providing equality and opportunity to young people through education and employment.

For full details on this opportunity, please see the trustee advert link HERE with all applications and queries to come to CEO Gary Laybourne (gary.laybourne@coachcore.org.uk) before Friday 29th May 2020.
