Coach Core win at FE Week & AELP Apprenticeship Awards!
Coach Core took home a prize from these prestigious Apprenticeship awards, held online in 2021
We are proud, delighted and humbled to have won the Diversity Award at the 2021 FE Week & AELP Apprenticeship Awards.
One of our foundations as a charity is partnership working, so this award is shared by every tutor, employer, central partner and mentor that give so much to help develop and support every Coach Core apprentice.
These prestigious awards are a celebration of excellence in apprenticeship delivery in the UK and provide an opportunity to give the recognition employers and providers deserve. We have won the Apprenticeship Diversity category; this award recognises apprentice employers and/or providers who’ve made an outstanding effort to increase the diversity of apprentices they work with. This award focusses on those organisations who can evidence a commitment to increasing their efforts to recruit a diverse workforce and demonstrate positive results. This award covers age, disability, gender, LGBT, race, religion & faith.
For this award, the judges were looking for:
- A coordinated activity or campaign to promote apprenticeships to a single or diverse group which is or was underrepresented
- Evidence of increased engagement from the activity or campaign’s target audience
- Demonstrating consistently high levels of retention and achievement rates for learners, where applicable.
“Our award winners have all been beacons of best practice throughout the pandemic. Means of training delivery have had to change, often with limited or no additional funding support, and yet we have a new generation of apprentices stepping into the skilled vacancies that employers are keen to fill. In my view, this year’s winners are truly exceptional.”
