Coach Core apprentice wins Apprentice Recruit of the Year
Annemarie Roberts, from our Newcastle, Tyne & Wear programme, took home the award from Lifetime Training’s annual ceremony.
The 10th annual Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards took place in Bristol and were opened by Multi MOBO award-winner Guvna B.
Lifetime said Annemarie had shown “exceptional development, commitment and promise.” She was selected as the winner of the award because the judging panel could see that the apprenticeship had not only helped with professional development but had also helped with personal growth – and they could see this would have a great impact on future apprentices.
“Hearing that I had been nominated for this award was a shock to me. I felt proud to be nominated. Knowing that I have a great team around me including managers, colleagues and mentors show we all do a great job in our industry”
Annemarie is doing a Level 3 Community Sports & Health Officer apprenticeship with Hat-Trick, where she previously completed a Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification.
“I feel my role within my organisation Hat-Trick has changed, through being part of the level 3 apprenticeship. I feel I have been nominated for this award as I have expanded in my job role. I now coordinate areas while expanding in less affluent areas, which has allowed more young people the chance to be involved in sessions. Securing school contracts and larger funding bids has helped me with the chance to be offered promotion within Hat-Trick.”
Huge congratulations Annemarie!
