By James Burbidge · 7th February 2022

National Apprenticeship Week 2022 is the 15th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships.

The week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

All week long we’ll be sharing perspectives from those who make up our community sports coaching Apprenticeship programme:

Nathaniel graduated from Coach Core’s Bristol programme in 2020. Here he talks about his journey from a kid falling out of love with football to a full-time coaching role with the Bristol Flyers.

LS-TEN – Employer

LS-TEN Skatepark, based in Leeds, talk about why the brought Coach Core apprentices on and what they do for the organisation.

Paige – Apprentice

Meet Paige, a Coach Core apprentice with Hat-Trick in Newcastle. She talks about why she didn’t go to college, what she was doing before the apprenticeship and what her work entails.

Dave – Learning Coach

Dave is Coach Core’s Bristol Learning Coach – he takes the apprentices through their education side of things.

Collinson – Partner

Dani Saadu – the Global Director of Talent at Coach Core’s partner Collinson – speaks on the importance of apprenticeships in the modern workforce, and what they find rewarding about working with Coach Core.
